Nestle Nespresso and Breville
Nestle Nespresso and Breville had created these two magnificent coffee machines using the coffee machine options they developed to the highest level. Nespresso gave their capsule system that makes coffee preparation easy and always fresh in flavor, and Breville gave their incredible milk frothing system. This way we have coffee and espresso makers that can fulfill our need for morning boost in just a few seconds.
Nespresso Creatista vs Creatista Plus
In the table listed above, we can clearly see all the differences between these two coffee machines. Many features are the same, but some of them are upgraded at the Creatista Plus model. The users required a better choice in coffee and milk temperature cos’ many of us like to drink coffee slowly and without stress. The Creatista Plus gave more choices when it comes to the beverage temperature, and the Breville improved the milk frothing system. The Plus model has 8 frothing texture levels.
It will be difficult to find reasons why the Nespresso Creatista is better than the Plus model, simply because the Plus model was created as the improved version of Creatista. That is why we will only emphasize the features that are changed to be better.
Appearance
Although these coffee machines were created to look similar to each other, there are still some differences in their design.
The coffee spout and the steam noosle are placed at the front side of both coffee machine models. The only difference is that the Nespresso Creatista has a machine body made in the combination of stainless steel and plastic in different colors, while Creatista Plus’s whole machine body is made in stainless steel.
Heat-up time
This is another feature that makes the Plus model better than the Creatista coffee machine. The Nespresso Creatista heat-up time is 10 seconds, and although we will all agree that that is pretty fast, the Plus model heats-up in just 3 seconds making your hesitation for morning shock completely disappear.
Milk temperature settings
Creatista coffee machine has only 5 different temperature settings, while Creatista Plus has 11 different temperature settings that range from 55-76°C / 133-169°F. This gives you more options to customize your favorite morning beverage to suit your taste the best.
Auto frothing
Creatista Plus is upgraded in this feature, too. Its 8 texture levels of frothing give you the possibility to brew your espresso, latte, macchiato, or lungo like a real barista. On the other hand, Nespresso Creatista has 4 texture levels and it is still much better coffee maker than other coffee and espresso machines. It is always better to have various choices, but if you are not that much complicated and demanding when it comes to the coffee or espresso, the Nespresso Creatista could fulfill all your desires.
Water tank capacity
The Creatista’s water tank is just 0.28 oz smaller than the 60oz water tank of Creatista Plus. Since they are different in this feature, we had to explain it out of the table. This difference is unimportant cos’ it basically can’t affect the performance of Creatista coffee machine.
Dimension
Creatista Plus is just a little bigger than the Nespresso Creatista if we look closely in their dimensions. This one inch of difference is hard to be noticed with bare eyesight, that is why we won’t take it as an advantage of Creatista Plus.
Similarities between Nespresso Creatista and Creatista Plus
These two love creations between Nestle Nespresso and Breville have some great similar features. Some of those characteristics are even the same.
- The choice between 8 different beverage managed with just one-touch button is something that puts them ahead of many other single serve coffee machines.
- Strong 19 bar pump, that both models have, makes a perfect espresso.
- -The drip tray is removable and cleaning and maintaining isn’t something that will give you a headache. Drip tray can change its position in order to fit cups of different sizes.
- The Nespresso capsule system will give you a perfect and flavorful espresso every time you wish for it. The capsule system has many different flavors for those with sensible taste receptors.
- The coffee volume is pre-set, but you can customize your beverage according to your necessities.
- Both coffee maker models have the auto shut-off option after only 9 minutes of an inactive state.
- The used capsule drawer can accommodate from 8 to 12 capsules, depending on the capsule size.
Which one to choose? Nespresso Creatista or Creatista Plus?
If you are not that picky when it comes to the coffee brewing method, then the Nespresso Creatista will fulfill all your expectations. But if you want your coffee machine to match not just your taste, but the taste of all your guests, then you should go with Creatista Plus. In every other feature, aside from those that we separately described, these two coffee and espresso machines are great.
As a new and upgraded model, it is natural that Creatista Plus has a higher price than the Nespresso Creatista. If the price isn’t a problem for you, you should choose Creatista Plus, it is always better to have some additional choices. But if your budget is tight, Creatista will be a great substitution for Creatista Plus model.
It is true that Creatista Plus was made as a better version of Nespresso Creatista, but it is important to emphasize that it doesn’t mean that Creatista is a bed coffee maker. For those who like to have a better choice in brew selection or faster coffee machine, Plus model will be a perfect option, but for those who don’t have this type of demand, the Nespresso Creatista will provide good mornings with fantastic coffee.
